Photo of the Week: Comics to combat violence against women

Reported cases of assaults against women in Haiti have risen steadily through the last decade. The MDG-F is helping Haiti reduce gender-based violence and is launching a cartoon campaign to teach that domestic violence is a crime punishable by prison.
This illustration encourages victims of domestic violence to go to a hospital within three days and to report the crime to the police, church or other organization to ensure that those responsible are jailed.
