Our partners were critical to our work. Through our collaborative approach, we increased dialogue and coordination not only between different UN Agencies, but also amongst Government Ministries.
The following chart illustrates the number different partners we brought together, revealing a clear focus on the local level, where over 600 municipal governments were at the forefront of our work.

Global partnerships

The MDG-F also established a number of global partnerships with cross-border initiatives in relevant areas of our work, such as advocacy for the MDGs, civic engagement, the post-2015 debate, gender equality, indigenous rights, culture, nutrition and water governance.
