Capacities Building for Cultural Operators Workshop

 

EU and international cultural cooperation programs were in focus of workshop aiming to build capacities of artistic entrepreneurs attended by more than 30 cultural administrators and managers of local organizations, including municipal staff from different regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The participants were representatives of 23 municipalities that are either implementing the Programme Culture for development, or their project applications were among the highest rated in the Programme’s selection process.


Additional two workshops will be held to assist the development of wholesaling targeting local and international markets, as well as to provide training for artists and craftspeople on quality standards, labeling, regulatory frameworks and copyright.


The Programme Culture for Development is a three-year programme that is being implemented in partnership of three UN Agencies: UNDP, UNESCO and UNICEF, in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, Ministry of Culture and Sports of FBiH, Ministry of Education and Culture of RS, as well as other institutions working in the area of education and culture.
