MDG-F helps provide access to safe water in Bosnia-Herzegovina

 


Regional Office of UNDP in Bihac Bosnia i Herzegovina has facilitated yet another platform for partnerships with local authorities



Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with Bosnia and Herzegovina's Government of Una-Sana Canton on 08 June 2011, the Regional Office of UNDP in Bihac has facilitated yet another platform for partnerships with local authorities.


Bosnia and Herzegovina's Mayor of Bihac Mr. Albin Muslić, and UNDP Regional Representative for West-North-Western BiH Mr. Slobodan Tadić, have signed a cost-sharing agreement for a new project to be implemented in Bihać municipality through MDG Fund for Ensuring Access to Water Through Insitutional Development and Infrastructure.


This new project, in the value of 136,000 KM, will be jointly funded by Bihać municipality, with a contribution in the amount of 50,000 KM, and another 86,000 KM to provided by UNDP.
