Bringing safe water to all

900 million people around the globe still lack access to safe water. Children are particularly affected by diseases caused by unclean water, and the effort required to collect safe water keeps many children – mainly girls – out of school. The MDG-F is helping countries to achieve Millennium Development Goal 7C, halving the number of people without access to safe water and basic sanitation by the year 2015.
