The effort to get water


The Ecuadorian government recently held a drawing competition among Ecuadorian students under the title "I love water," through the National Water Secretariat and the UN Joint Programme "Governance in the Water and Sanitation Sector in Ecuador" financed by the MDG-Fund.


The winning drawings, include all those presented in this photo essay and this image, which received special mention by the jury, are being shown in Quito as part of the celebrations marking World Water Day.
