Promoción de la consolidación de la paz en Serbia meridional Serbia meridional cuenta con la única concentración de origen étnico albanés en el país y también es la parte más pobre del país. Los problemas sobre desigualdades, reales y percibidas, siguen existiendo entre las comunidades étnicas en Serbia meridional (incluyendo serbios, romaníes y desplazados internos de Kosovo), y entre el sur y el resto de Serbia. El incremento de tensiones en Kosovo amenaza con derramarse sobre Serbia meridional salvo que se aborden las fuentes del resentimiento. Turismo Sostenible para el Desarrollo Rural El Programa conjunto respaldará las instituciones nacionales y locales para definir e implementar una política para el desarrollo del turismo rural que incrementará la actividad económica y el empleo en las áreas rurales en Serbia, con el objetivo de reducir la pobreza rural y la emigración. Los organismos implementarán el programa conjunto con el apoyo del Ministerio de Economía y Desarrollo Regional, el Ministerio de Agricultura y la Organización de Turismo de Serbia. Apoyo a las iniciativas nacionales de promoción del empleo juvenil y gestión de la migración El Programa Conjunto implementado por IOM, OIT, PNUD y UNICEF respaldó a las instituciones nacionales y locales para que implementaran políticas y medidas operativas que incrementaran el empleo juvenil en Serbia mientras al mismo tiempo reducieran el impacto negativo del regreso y la migración irregular.STORIES
