Peru: Fighting poverty through the creative industries

The MDG-F funded an innovative programme to fight poverty in four regions of Peru -- Ayacucho, Cusco, Lambayeque and Puno -- with projects in the fields of organic agriculture, food, crafts and rural tourism. Some 2,300 producers received training to strengthen their ability to access markets, increase their income and improve their quality of life.
