Reducing the impact of climate change in Egypt

Egypt is highly vulnerable to climate change, and its impacts may jeopardize Egypt’s efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. The MDG-F is working with the government to encourage renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives and to develop strategies to respond to the effects of climate change on Egypt’s water resources, coastal zones and agriculture, including the testing of new crop varieties.
