In the Arab states the Fund primarily works on Gender Equality and Women’s empowerment with about US$21,000,000. These programmes are active in Morocco, Occupied Palestinian Territories and upcoming in Algeria. Other programmes are active in the areas of youth employment, culture and development as well as development and the private sector.
