Africa

In Africa our priority is in the area of Children, Food Security and Nutrition with an allocation of $40,000,000. These funds are supporting Ethiopia, Mali, Niger, Guinea Bissau, Mauritania, Mozambique and Angola in their fight against hunger and malnutrition. Substantial work is also being done in the area of Culture and Development with US$30,000,000 of funding allocated towards initiatives related to creative industries and citizen participation as is the example of Senegal and Mozambique. In the area of Environment and Climate Change, experimental pilot initiatives are planned in Mozambique, Mauritania, Senegal and Ethiopia.
