Chaque semaine, cette organisation féminine accueille cinq cas d’agressions physiques et sexuelles perpétrées à l’encontre des femmes. Le F-OMD travaille sur plusieurs fronts à réduire les conflits en Haïti et à augmenter les services destinés aux victimes de violence sexiste.
Our Joint Programmes
Conflict Prevention and social cohesion through Local Community Empowerment and Institutional Capacity BuildingThrough a solid collaboration arrangement between five UN agencies and the UN Peacekeeping Mission, the Joint Programme will tackle the immediate causes of violence in 10 communities particularly prone to violence in Haiti by supporting violence prevention strategies, thereby providing a breathing space for longer term recovery and development efforts to take hold.

Every week, this women’s organization sees 5 cases of physical and sexual assaults on women. The MDG-F is working on many fronts to reduce conflict in Haiti and to increase services for victims of gender-based violence.
