Our Joint Programmes

Indigenous and Afro-Colombian Communities in the Chocó Department promote their Food Security and Nutrition

The programme is based on the ESCR framework and seeks to reduce gaps and improve the food security and nutrition of pregnant and lactating women and children up to the age of five years - with an emphasis on children aged 0 to 2 years – of indigenous and Afro-Colombian communities suffering from marginalisation, vulnerability and exclusion, in nine municipalities in the Chocó department, affected by armed violence.

Integration of ecosystems and adaptation to climate change in the Colombian Massif

This programme will strengthen the coordination and integration of environmental issues within the national development agenda, with an emphasis on reducing vulnerability due to environmental degradation and climate change in the poorest and most affected sectors and groups.

Integral strategy for the prevention and awareness of all forms of gender-based violence

This programme aims to contribute to the eradication of all forms of gender-based violence (GBV) in Colombia through an integral and overlapping strategy that develops the axes of prevention, detection, recording, awareness and promotion of a political and legal framework in agreement with international guidelines.

Strengthening local capacities for peace-building in the Department of Nariño

The Programme aims to consolidate local and regional capacities, assets and efforts for building peace and promoting development by: strengthening democratic institutions, fostering civic participation, and promoting coexistence and sustainable socio-economic development, while at the same time incorporating ethnic, cultural and gender perspectives as a condition for progress towards achieving MDGs.
